GreenHopper 1.2.1 release notes
Pyxis Technologies is proud to announce the release of GreenHopper 1.2.1 in Standard, Professional and Enterprise editions.
This release includes many new features, improvements and [bug fixes].
- Sorting capability (Hot!)
The previous versions of GreenHopper came with an intelligent sorting function. To provide more flexibility to our users, we have enhanced the sorting capability. It is now possible to sort by:
- Issue key
- Issue type
- Priority
- Status
- Assignee
- Due date
There is more to come in the next version.

|
- Configurable start date in the charts
In the previous version, the start date of the burndown charts was computed based on the first worklog. This method was not always accurate. For example, an issue with worklogs was moved from one version to another or if the first worklog was recorded well after the real version start date. In version 1.2.1, it is now possible to override the computed start date.
 | Only the project administrators have the permission to override the start date of a version. |
|
|
- Issue navigator (Hot!)
The JIRA issue navigator is now accessible and will be prefilled with the selected board criteria. This gives a one-click access to a JIRA's very flexible list view from anywhere in GreenHopper.
|
|
- Shortcuts to log work
In the task board, since the most common operation is work logging, we have added a shortcut directly on the summary view to the worklog input view.
|
|
- Proactive security
Action links on the cards (i.e. edit, assign, log work...) are now visible only if the user has the required rights to trigger the action.
|
|
- Handling mandatory inputs in the task board transitions
If a field is requested (mandatory) in a workflow screen for a particular issue transition, since the task board does not handle custom workflow screens yet, the task board will not allow the transition and will ask the user to transit the issue via the standard JIRA interface.
|
|
- Access keys to the menu bar links
- Revision of the default color scheme
The default color scheme for the trial edition is the GreenHopper color scheme.
The default color scheme for the Open Source, Academic and Commercial editions is the JIRA color scheme.
GreenHopper 1.2.1 fixed issues
Here is the list of fixed issues:
