I don't know if there is something to do to allow it, but the changes in the task board columns configuration panel are not saved automatically.
I'm using Jira Entreprise 3.10 and the jira-greenhopper-plugin-1.1-complete.jar file.

I tested it on a JIRA Enterprise 3.9 and 3.10.1 and everything seemed to be working as expected.
Which browser are you using?
Thanks Vince

I tried both IE 6.0 and FireFox 2.0.0.6. without success.
Is there a way to force the save of the parameters?

No, we cant
I have just tried it on a fresh JIRA 3.10 Enterprise standalone version with a custom workflow and still I have no problems.
This is a weird behavior that leaves me speechless, perhaps you could send me a screen shot of your Configuration pane at jchuet@pyxis-tech.com that might put me on a trail.
I really appreciate your help Vince

Ok, I managed to make it work.
It seems it's due to the way I was updating the view. I initially started to update one precise workflow definition in the middle of the page (in fact the one currently active on our projects).
But to make it work, I had to update the workflow definition from the top of the page, and the configuration magically applied to all the other statuses, including the one I was initially targeting.
It's a not so intuitive behavior, but that's fine now.
Thanks for your help.

Great, for a minute I was a bit troubled hehe.
But cool I am glad you worked i out.
After what you have been through I do believe that we missed something on the intuitive part of this screen.
I will see what can be done.
Thanks Vince,
J

I had the exact same problem as veggen, but was able to get the configurations saved thanks to his workaround (i.e. changing the configuration of all workflows from top to bottom instead of only the workflow I'm interested in changing, which is in the middle of the screen).
I'm using GH 1.2.1-jira310 with JIRA 3.11 Ent installed as standalone.
BTW, I'm very impressed with your product in general.

Thanks !
We will surely revised the screen for the task board configuration. It is not very intuitive which is the main goal of GreenHopper.
Stay tune

The TaskBoard configuration was redisigned to be much more intuitive. It will be introduced in version 1.4
