I've made all steps from documentation (http://www.greenpeppersoftware.com/confluence/display/GH/PLANNING+BOARD#PLANNINGBOARD-ordering) to make ranking ordering. But I can't drag'n'drop in Planning Board. It doesn't work. All my issues have rank, they are order by rank. But mouse drag'n'drop doesn't do anything. No errors. No actions.

What I did wrong?

Have you sorted your issues by the GreenHopper ranking field in the planning board view?

And make sure that you have scheduling priveliges, if that is required in greenhopper config.

Yes. All my issue ordered by rank in the planning board view. If I change the rank through issue editing than all issues reorder. By Drag'n'Drop doesnt work. I can't move issue by mouse to change rank.

My user is a Jira System Administrator. And I didn't set the Need Scheduling Permission checkbox.

I've found the reason!
Drag'n'Drop works ONLY in VERSION VIEW! Not in Components view. Why is it so?

Hi,

Yes the Ranking is not enabled in the Component view as for now.
It is not as simple as it might sound. We are trying to figure out the side effects of letting user to rank via the Component board.

Any progress on offering the ability to sort in component view? We have a project where several product owners are involved, and the way they divide up their efforts is by component.

This is awesome. I'm actively trying to use Greenhopper more directly in our product planning efforts, and I believe this will help immensely.

Thanks very much for the quick reply (and progress from your Dev team). We're going to upgrade shortly.
