Session Invalid (Empty!) error

Hello every one,

I have faced Session Invalid (Empty!) error recently and I can not figure out what should be the reason for this error.
I am getting this error when I try to connect to GP from Visual Studio to get list of test and run them before everything works fine and I do not change any option on our server.
Please help me it’s very urgent.

Hi,

The "Session invalid" error is cause by invalid credentials specified on the repository.

If you allow anonymous access to the Confluence (where your specifications are) you need to remove username / password (it will be reset to anonymous).

If not (need credentials) make sure you use a username / password that is recognized by Confluence

Could you specify where can i find and check the credentials in the Confluence to fix my error ? Why i am asking such details because our system has been setup before me i just took handover of the system.

Something you can check : browse to the Space Admin / Space Registration / GreenPepper of your Confluence Space. You should see where to enter credential (at least you will see the username). Click the Edit link at the top and you will be able to update the credentials. Clicking the save button will trigger a validation of that user, so if it is successfull, use this username/password for repositories under the Visual Studio plugin.

Another way is to create a new user in Confluence (like 'greenpepper') and specify this user in the Space Registration. Make sure this user can access the Space where your specifications are...

I am sorry now i can not save my changes and i have this error Failed to update the Repository.

Do you have any assumption about this ?

You got the "Session invalid" when trying to save the new information about the Repository ?

Which version of Confluence are you using ?
Which version of GreenPepper ? Did you install the plugin by copying the jar to WEB-INF/lib of Confluence ?

1. "Session invalid" i have getting this when i am trying to get list of test in the Repository view
2. Failed to update the Repository i am geting it when i am trying to update comfiguration for the pluging for instence i tried to change user.
3. Confluence 2.10.1
4. GreenPepper 2.3
5. I do not know how it has been istalled because it was done before me

I am sorry one point i just update password for user who has been setup for Green pepper pluging and the problem Session invalid disapired but i still want to change this user name and i can not to do it because of Failed to update the Repository.
