Here is the scenario:
I would like to see the task board by component. Is this possible? Basically I have three teams working on three interdependent components as part of the same project - I would like to track progress on each component separately. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, because the filtering options on the task board are not sufficient.
Or a work around - obviously creating three separate projects is one way to work around this, but I would also like to get a view of the aggregate progress as well.

Thanks!
I am getting complaints from users about losing context in the planning board.
The basic scenario is: view issues in planning board (in say the component context on page 1), edit an (say, reassign to me via assign, assign to me) click planning board.

Results: component context disappears, user navigated to version context...

I also noticed a difference between the URL targets in the top navigation:
/secure/PlanningBoard.jspa
versus the left navigation:
/secure/GetBoardForIssue.jspa?selectedProjectId=10030&selectedVersionId=10028&type=VB&id=10098#summary_HG-23

which might account for the change in context?

Note: clicking the top level planning board link retains the context, but not the page number.
Hi,

I have a couple of questions about this approach - I dont understand how you nest sprints into releases - is Master another tool? (Do you have have a release burndown view?)

Also, is there a way to get a roll-up of completed sub-tasks to know that a story has been completed?

Thanks!

Daniel
